Hi, my name is Hardo Bottin and I am writing this email in support of Dr. Robert O Young.
I have known Dr. Young now for a number of years and spent all up about 6 weeks at his ranch in Valley Centre.
During my time with him I was privileged to see him at work and honoured to be one of his students.
I want to make one thing very clear right from the start that this email is composed by me and on my own free will based upon my own personal experiences...as such I can make statements that are based on facts.
At no time during my stay have I ever seen Dr. Young perform any kind of medical treatment on either myself or any of the other students and residential clients. All medical procedures were performed by qualified medical staff.
Considering Dr. Young's current legal challenges I had no choice but to involve myself in his strive for justice....I have been working as a Therapist now for almost 28 years helping people to recover from all kinds of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual trauma and may I say very successfully.
Dr Young has always had only one mission in his professional career and that is to support those in need to find answers for their medical problems. His approach, even though unconventional, has proven to be of great help to thousands of clients who were given up on as incurable by their medical system.
The most important pledge that any Doctor has ever made in the history of medicine is" DO NO HARM " and considering that approximately 100.000 people die every year in the US alone from the consequences of medical /pharmaceutical treatment it is only logical that we need to look for alternatives in the treatment of disease and above all focus our combined efforts on the prevention of disease.
This is in my opinion exactly what Dr Young is so determined to achieve and I honour him for his unwavering commitment to his work and above all to his clients. What most people do not know is that he supports many individuals free of charge and makes up for it with clients who have sufficient capital to pay for the services Dr. Young provides.
The Integrity and humility, the commitment to his family, work, to his clients and to his faith are beyond reproach and something to aspire to. I admit I am having difficulties in understanding why an innovative spirit like Dr. Young is being legally challenged for being a pioneer in his field committed to making a difference in the lives of those suffering.....historically speaking I suppose it does make sense....Dr Young is one of many pioneers that have had to endure the ridicule and persecution by the authorities at the time for thinking outside the box.
It would be advisable to support innovative individuals such as Dr. Young as they are preparing the path on which others will walk in generations to come. It seems though that history has a habit of repeating itself.
Let us take a look at"The World Health Organization's Declaration of Helsinki, which states:"
"In the treatment of the sick person, the physician must be free to use a new diagnostic or therapeutic measure, if in his or her judgment it offers hope of saving life, re-establishing health or alleviating suffering."
If my attendance is required during the court procedures to give evidence in support of Dr. Young in person I will be happy to do so.
