Relatives of Lorna Baillie was devastated when the medical team supporting equipment of his release after spending three hours trying to save his life.
The family gathered around his hospital bed to say goodbye after doctors declared grandmother 49 years was technically already died. 45 minutes later, John (58 years) whispered 'I love you' in her ear.
How John, son and three daughters Baillie who was beside him was very surprised when suddenly his condition gradually improved and the 'rise' and death.
Feeling unsure, family immediately called the doctor who then find the pulse and immediately rushed to provide intensive care to Baillie.
"We were so close and we are not the kind of people who just give up. We told the mother to be strong. I kept saying to him 'Go Mom, come back'," said her daughter, Leanne Porteous (31 years), as reported by the Daily Mail on Monday (27 / 2/2012).
And when her husband whispered 'Come Lorna, I love you', instantly just Baillie who has been declared dead back to life again.
Two weeks later, a former nurse at Prestonpans, East Lothian, even be able to sit up in bed and communicating with family.
Baillie had a heart attack when he was at his home on February 10 last. Paramedics fought to revive him before taking him to Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary, where doctors told the family he was dead.
"He said technically mother was dead, but they had to wait until she stopped breathing before it can be said to be medically dead," said Leanne.
